I'm Baccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!

Whew! I didn’t realize it had been so long since I graced the pages of my blog, Suburban Chic Mom… but I’m bacckkkkkkk!!!

Writing and blogging have always been creative outlets for me. They allow me to express my thoughts and feelings while connecting with like-minded individuals. I’m grateful for my writing skills and look forward to more opportunities to expand them — and bring you all along for the journey.

A few life updates:

• I started a new job since I last blogged. I went from local government to a private healthcare technology company. I started as a Sr. Program Manager, but have since been promoted to Program Director. During this time, I also earned my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. I work fully remote and truly appreciate the flexibility my company affords me, allowing me to remain very present in my household.

• In addition to working full-time, I am still very much a full-time mom. My kiddos are now 11 and 8 years old. I can’t believe I have a soon-to-be middle schooler and a third grader. They are growing quickly and keeping me as busy as ever. While I volunteer at my kids’ school periodically, I refuse to join the PTO.

• I’ve also been intentional about making time for myself. It is essential.

All in all, I still find some of these suburban-area ways just as funny as ever, and I look forward to sharing more with you all.
